What's that in your stomach?
Mama and Zookeeper are back in hometown. And the funny thing is that I miss them. Or rather their noises. So I made a mental note not to take their excessive naggings for granted. I say this only because I think I should. But chances are I will feel like strangling them when they come back.
I can give you more reasons why we should all be nice to our mama. I mean other than the fact that they give us interest-free loans. They have to put all with all kind of shits during the 10 months pregnancy and end up looking like a whale for the rest of their lives. Apparently when Mama was pregnant with me, she had obssessive cravings for green bean soup. So bad that she could have them and nothing else for the whole day. Mama is a small woman of 154cm and I weighed 10 pound when I was delivered. And Zookeeper was a bloody 60cm long when she was born. Mama insisted that she needed to lay down all the time and be carried around. People always look at us then at her and wondered aloud how did she manage to squeeze us into that little frame of hers. I have no idea. And the best part? There was no stretch marks.
Recently while taking the train (yes, I love to take the train when I am not in a hurry so that I can stare at people), a whale walked in. She looked perpectually annoyed. I would be too if I were her. I mean her babies are growing in her boobs. They were SO huge that made her looked like a 3 headed monster and masked her tummy. And if her children (I assumed that it is twins because each can grow in their separate boob) are growing into ingrates, then I will have to throw on my superhero's hot pink suit and hang them at Takashimaya Square.
It is scary what hormones can do a woman when she is expecting. I have seen extremes in my colleagues who were pregnant. One was glowing. She was like the most beautiful big tummy woman I had seen. You know, completed with perfect radiant complexion and thick, flowy wavy mane. Another, well, let's just say I have seen her in better days. And her better days wasn't too spectacular either.
I will stick to my imaginary children for now.

Definitely. Sometimes I forgot to feed them and found them dead on the doorway when I return and then I just switch on the TV and they spring to life. But they throw tantrums too when I refused to buy them new toys.
